Masculinities

For Image Making we had to create a set of photographs, a video and an illustration all relating to our concept of masculinity. I chose the topic of mental health in men this is a topic that is barely talked about since men have always been told to not show feeling or their emotional side, this is a topic that really resonates with myself since most men in my family have struggled with mental health so I wanted to portray what I’ve lived through the images and video that aims to show a man in solitude, dealing with his struggles alone.
